Daihatsu at 2006 Bologna Motor Show Outstanding comfort and everyday-use versatility… Inside Daihatsu stand we find an original and aggressive proposal: mini MPV, which is named Materia. This kind of compact and aggressive cars have been very appreciated from Japanese youngs for years. Materia is equipped with a 1.5 litres engine which develops 105 hp, resulting powerful enough to face sucessfully the chaothic urban traffic. Let’s talk now about Daihatsu Trevis, the latest “retrò” proposal “retrò” of the Japanese car manufacturer in the city car segment. This vehicle is 341cm long, five-doors, and it features a nice and nostalgic look inspired to legendary Issigonis’ Mini: this is Daihatsu’s solution to fight against city caos with a touch of fun. Trevis is different from its competitors: short and sloping hood recalls us past years, while the wheels are double end, making the cab very roomy.
